New Sponsors aboard!
Jans is sponsoring the OzRockInn fun(d)raiser for Friday night 27 July! Special thanks to Rolf for organising that, it means we will all certainly have a good time! Jans is a lightly spiced dutch herbal liqueur dubbed the Friendship Drink. I am sure it is good for Cystic Fibrosis!
And welcome aboard to VPS (a subsidary of the Australian Jacon Group), they are providing a support vehicle for Vietnam! It means we can concentrate on the traffic and the road and not carry heavy loads of gear! Awesome. This takes an enormous load of my mind! We just need to look after driver and petrol costs.

Vietnamese and Chinese postcards
When riding in Europe for The Great COFE our humble team was often mistaken for a rich group of cyclists. In fact we were self funded and poor! Althought we did have a wonderful support vehicle we still shared the fuel costs! Primarrily we are all out for a good time and to promote CF awareness.
This time we will have postcards and business cards in different languages to make sure we do not get treated like rich tourists!!
Let's hope it works!

Derrico Cycles is my preferred bicycle shop in Devonport Tasmania that has always given me great bicycle support. They have donated time and provided discounts on bicycle bits and pieces for the bikes not only for Viet2Sing but also on previous Cystic Fibrosis missions. They even put my propaganda, books and DVD on their shelves! They have looked at the Zoco Electric Bikes and helped me with essential advice, tools and fine tuning in preparation for this 5000km Vietnam to Singapore bicycle ride.
Devonport Hash House Harriers Support
DHASH has supported me with every adventure to date! Kinabalu, Sydney to Melbourne, Paris to Istanbul. OnOn! Running Hash is probably one of my favourite past time activities, keeping me fit and well in an entertaining way.
Pentax Geo-tagging Camera for Ride
C.R. Kennedy has supported us by sponsoring the team with a GPS enabled shockproof and waterproof rugged travel camera which can not only geotag photos, it can actually log our ride each day!

Zoco Electric Bike
Zoco has sponsored Coughing4CF with brand new bicycles for the team to cycle the 5000kms through Asia!
Zoco makes a very different electric bicycle to the usual electric bike. The Zoco Electric Bike uses a central drive system and which does not run from the hub! This means the electric motor utilises the gears and means you have standard wheels on the bike. Another innovation that makes this bicycle stand out is the NuVinci Continuously Variable gearing system. Having ridden three different electric bikes over the past year I believe this bicycle is an awesome choice for our Vietnam to Singapore 5000 km bike-ride. The bike averages about 20km/hr and will happily go for 50+ kms on one charge.
